Avocado Bread Easy to make Healthy

Sometimes there is not enough time to make an elaborate meal. So when that happens it is great to have a few fast and easy recipes up your sleeve that you can pull out when needed.

The avocado sandwich is one of those dishes.

We love to make this sandwich because it reminds us of our honeymoon to Italy last summer, where we spend a lot of time going to local markets picking out quality products and making some yummy sandwich combinations.

It is really very straight forward. All you need is bread of some sort, it can be baguette, toast bread, rye bread or any other kind of bread that you can cut in half and stuff with goodies!

The filling is easy and can be anything you want basically. This is what we put in our sandwich:

1 ripe avocado, sliced
1 tomato, sliced
3 slices of mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons pesto
Salt and pepper

Heat up the bread if you have time or use it cold. Cut it open and spread the pesto on both slices of the bread. Place tomatoes, mozzarella and avocado on one of the bread pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Close the sandwich and eat it!!

As mentioned there are an unlimited number of varieties to making a sandwich and only you know how you like it best.

Serrano ham
Crisp bacon
Lettuce
Cucumber
Shredded carrots
Mango
