Too late to reply this post, as I've been just referred this by a blog. Anyway, it's almost an end of 2011, and we already have seen after too much update of panda that what works and what's not. When it comes to SEO, most people are talking about dirrotceies first, that is clear for me that it worth to submit to lots of directories rather we need to focus on topical based directories that have good value in terms of content, structure etc.
