Be careful out there

Salt/sodium content is one of the many things to watch out for when buying canned or processed food. If you pay attention to the Nutrient Facts on the label you might be surprised how much sodium there is in your product. Sure it might taste good but having food items with a high sodium content is extremely bad for your health. Studies have linked high blood pressure & heart problems to high sodium contents in food. In fact, all food contain a small amount of natural forming sodium, most times adding more salt is simply not necessary. So before you eat those salted almonds or peanuts, think a little bit about what you’re doing to your heart and your overall health.

Make your food from scratch as much as possible and use as much unprocessed food as possible. A good idea is to pay attention to sodium content in your food.

Your heart will thank you later.
