So after a pretty long and intense study period I finally have time to cook again. I love it so much it and I really missed doing it for the last while.
So now I am back in business with a delicious chocolate mousse with a special ingredient. Do you want to know what it is??
Read on and I will get to that part. First of all I want to tell you that it is super healthy dessert that tastes amazing and will leave you begging for more. It is fatty, but the right kind of fat, this is where my special ingredient comes in, it has flavour and looks like smooth chocolate mousse, except it is green!!
Here is comes: The special ingredient is avocado!
I found this recipe through Dani Spies website and created my own twist to the recipe.
Here is how to make this yummy dessert. It is fast and easy and you can make it ahead of time and leave it in the fridge till you are ready to serve it.
2 ripe avocados
3 tablespoons pure cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons milk to soften
Scoop the avocado out of the peel and into a food processor. Mix till it is soft and smooth. Add cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, honey and mix again. You might need to scrape down the sides and mix again a few times. Add the milk to make the mousse a little more soft. Mix again. Scrape out the mousse and into nice serving glasses or bowls and place in the fridge till you want to serve them.
For decoration you can add a few frozen berries.
So easy and so yummy.
